What happens on the day?

On arrival at The Shard you’ll be greeted by your personal host, who will take you through fast-track entry and up to Level 68, where you’ll take your seats in the exclusive VIP area with the rest of the group (maximum 10 people).

Discover everything you need to know about gin with this fantastic masterclass. You’ll learn all about gin’s chequered past and the current ‘Ginaissance’ from the experts as you enjoy two full Gin and Tonics, plus a tasting of a third gin for good measure. Once your 60-minute class is over, you’ll receive a certificate of completion, before enjoying the views at your leisure. It’s the perfect way to round off a fantastic experience.

Availability

Your experience must be booked and taken before the expiry date on your voucher. Vouchers cannot be extended.

The experience is available most Saturdays and Sundays. Exclusions may apply.

We recommend that bookings are made ASAP due to the popularity of the experience. For Saturdays, due to demand, you may need to book at least 12 weeks in advance.

The experience lasts approximately 1 hour followed by access to the view, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.

What should I wear?

You are advised to wear comfortable clothing, suitable for the time of year.

What about the weather?

Level 72 is open to the elements and so the weather could affect your visit to this level. Adverse weather conditions may also affect your view from the Shard.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
