LEGO Hidden Side sets give kids from the age of 6+ the opportunity not only to build something unique (and haunted!) but also see the unseen through the innovative LEGO AR app through your smartphone.

The free augmented reality app will become their best friend upon completing building their set, helping them hunt and track down the pesky ghosts that are haunting their surroundings of Newbury.

The town of Newbury includes fairgrounds, submarines, subways, beach buggy's and much more – all of which are haunted. It’s your job to get building and get hunting!

Origins of LEGO

These sets are very much moving with technology and they also show just how much the brand has evolved over the years since its humble beginnings.

The LEGO groups origins date way back to 1934 when the brand was founded by Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen. It began by creating wooden toys which proved to be successful, before branching out into the world of plastic toys in 1949 and you’d say the rest is history.

Then they introduced us to the interlocking bricks which have become a hit with kids and adults around the world, enabling us to really get hands-on and build all kinds of cool buildings, re-create famous landmarks & vehicles whilst also allowing us to get closer to our heroes with their selection of franchised sets.

Now over 80 years on from its beginnings, progress isn’t slowing down anytime soon and here at IWOOT we’re huge fans – with Hidden Side LEGO sets up there with our favourites. Combining AR with the enjoyable building experience is a bold step and it results in plenty of fun!
